The desk: the longevity route
Issuing a kit for two hours, the visitor's three letters, the «Walk recorded» line and the «SEND» button. Everything the person at the desk does, in order.

In short
The longevity route is a short version of the programme for someone off the street. They create no account and remember no password: everything arrives by e-mail, and the links in those letters open by themselves.
The desk needs to do three things: issue the kit in the right mode, take the e-mail address without a typo, and press «SEND» when the watch comes back.
Issuing
The issue form has a mode switch. «Longevity» — the usual stay on the programme, everything as before. «The longevity routes» — a visitor for a couple of hours.
In route mode only the first name, last name and e-mail are required. Age, height and weight do not hold up the issue but sharpen the numbers — write them in if the person is willing: without a date of birth the pulse corridor is worked out from the questionnaire's age band, more roughly.
Read the e-mail address back aloud and ask them to confirm it. It is the only thing the visitor leaves behind: a typo in it can be caught here and nowhere else — afterwards the letter simply never arrives and no one finds out.
The consent to process health data is signed right there in the form. Without it the portal may not record anything.
What the visitor receives
Three letters, all in the language chosen in the form.
- Right after the issue — «the watch is on your wrist» and a «Take the questionnaire» button.
- As soon as the questionnaire is done — the results: the level, the pulse corridor and a «Walk the route» button under every suitable route.
- On the «SEND» button — the measurements taken while the watch was worn, and a PDF: a letter by name, the walk report and the offer to take the programme.
While they are out walking
Nothing to do. The watch records by itself and the phone leads along the route and works without the internet — see The walk screen.
If the visitor comes back asking «where are my numbers», explain that the watch hands the day to the phone with a delay and the portal collects it every half hour.
The kit comes back
A green line appears on the kit's card — «Walk recorded: 1.55 km, 12 min ago» — with a «card» link. It opens the walk report, the same one the visitor sees; you can show it to them on your own screen.
The order is:
- «Sync now» — if there is no walk line yet, or the pulse has not arrived. The button goes to Garmin for fresh data without waiting for the half-hourly round.
- «SEND» — the letter with the report and the offer. The portal shows the address in the confirmation: the last chance to spot a typo.
- «Take back» — the watch returns to the shelf. «SEND» stays available afterwards: the kit remembers the visitor, and the letter can still go an hour later.
- «Erase all records» — optional now: the next issue erases the kit by itself. Pressing it here means the kit forgets the visitor and the recorded walks are deleted in the Garmin account straight away, so the next guest does not wait for it at the desk. The person's own history in the portal stays: if they come back, they continue where they were.
If the letter did not go
The portal says what happened in words, and the difference matters.
- «Sent, but without the report» — the letter went, the PDF did not build. The visitor got an invitation without the report it was all for: tell the administrator.
- «Sent, no data yet» — the letter went, but there are barely any measurements in it: the kit's phone has not handed over the day. Press «Sync now» and send again while the visitor is still at the desk.
- «Mail is not configured» — a fault of the house, not a refusal to the guest. Tell the administrator; the letter will go once the mail is fixed.
