The longevity route: how it works

A walk along a marked Karlovy Vary trail wearing the hotel's watch. It takes a couple of hours, needs no sign-up, and ends with your measurements in your inbox.

What it is

The longevity route is the short version of what a guest on the programme does for two weeks. You are handed a kit — a Garmin watch and a phone with the portal open. You walk one of the town's spa trails; the watch measures pulse, pace, climb and energy reserve the whole way, and the portal guides you along the route by voice.

There is nothing to sign up for. Reception asks for your first name, last name and e-mail — nothing else. Everything after that arrives at that address as links that open by themselves.

How it goes

The order is always the same and takes about two hours.

What arrives by mail

Three letters, all in the language you gave at the desk. One with the questionnaire, one with your results and routes, one with the report.

The third carries a PDF: a letter addressed to you, your measurements from the walk, a demonstration night (two hours produce no sleep — the file says so plainly) and a list of what the programme gives. The file is yours: print it, keep it, show it to your own doctor.

What is not here

Sleep. It is measured at night, and the route takes hours. In its place the report shows a demonstration night, labelled «not your data».

A diagnosis. Everything the portal does is measurement and its reading. It is not a medical conclusion and does not replace a doctor.
