The entry point to a spa stay: three days, seven biomarkers from Garmin devices, an extended blood panel and spectral HRV analysis — and a written stay plan at the end.
Choose the programme in the portalThe demo portal opens: the programme shelf, the Longevity Diagnostics tile and a two-minute questionnaire.
Every Longevity programme has its own set of markers. Diagnostics has seven, more than any other: it does not run a course, it describes the starting point — and it describes it from two sides, fitness and body composition.
Five numbers the portal computes from watch data, two arrive from the scale. The names are left in English: that is how they are labelled in Garmin Connect and on the watch itself, and how they stand on the programme tile in the portal and on the website shelf.
| Marker | Where it comes from | What it means | Why it is in this programme |
|---|---|---|---|
| VO₂max (maximal oxygen uptake) | The Garmin watch; if the model does not report it, the portal estimates it from a walk | Millilitres of oxygen per kilogram per minute | The strongest single marker of endurance. The walk estimate uses the ACSM walking cost equation extrapolated on heart-rate reserve; the error of submaximal methods is about 5 ml/kg/min, so the portal shows the trend rather than a single figure |
| Fitness Age | Computed by the portal from VO₂max, sex and age | The age at which this VO₂max is the population median | Translates VO₂max into language a guest understands. Outside the normative table the portal does not show it at all: a 'fitness age of 85' from a noisy estimate frightens without telling anything true |
| HRV (heart rate variability) | The Garmin watch, overnight | The spread between heartbeats during sleep, ms | The state of autonomic regulation. Garmin's own verdict needs about three weeks of wear, so the portal compares the night with the guest's own average rather than with someone else's norm |
| Resting HR | The Garmin watch | Beats per minute at rest | A cheap and stable marker: a shift of a few beats shows up before the guest feels tired |
| Sleep Score | The Garmin watch, overnight | 0–100 plus the structure of the night by stage | Sleep is the entrance to any programme: under a low score the doctor does not prescribe hard procedures |
| BMI (body mass index) | The Garmin Index S2 scale in the room | Mass divided by height squared, kg/m² | A rough frame. It is read together with muscle mass: for a trained guest BMI overstates the risk |
| Muscle Mass (skeletal muscle mass) | The Garmin Index S2 scale, bioimpedance | Muscle mass, kg | The main consumer of glucose at rest and the first thing lost with age. It decides which programme is offered next |

The portal's front page is LONGEVITY: the rings of the day, 'Today's report' scored from 0 to 100 and the 'State by state' column, where every line explains what the number means today.
In the screenshot the demo guest's report is 48 out of 100 with the line 'Rest — the doctor decides': variability 33 ms, 19.9 % under their own average of 41.2 ms. On such a day the portal offers no hard procedures, and pulse ox acclimation of 88 % against a threshold of 90 % sends the guest to the doctor before any procedure.
The screenshots are in English on purpose: Garmin's product terms are not translated in any locale, while the portal itself speaks to the guest in their own language — the interface is translated into 36. The guest in the screenshots is fictional, this is the demo stand.

In diagnostics the medical frame does not top up the course, it is the course. The portal places it itself, by the length of the stay rather than by the budget: frame items never compete for paid slots.
The first morning is the examination, an ECG, INBODY, the drinking cure prescription and the blood draw. The second day is spectral HRV analysis and the life test. The last day is a specialist consultation — cardiology or gastroenterology, depending on what was found.
A stay longer than a week adds two more items: a doctor's consultation in the middle and a repeat INBODY the day before departure, so that the conclusion compares two measurements rather than one.
| Day | Item | Time | Price, CZK | What it gives |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Medical examination | 30 min | 2,000 | History, contraindications, the signature under the plan |
| 1 | ECG | 15 min | 350 | Rhythm and conduction before the first load |
| 1 | INBODY and consultation | 30 min | 1,000 | Body composition by segment: fat, muscle, water |
| 1 | Drinking cure prescription | 15 min | 800 | The spring, the volume, the temperature and the timing |
| 1 | Extended blood panel (lipids, HbA1c, hsCRP, ApoB) | 15 min | 4,500 | Lipid profile, three-month average sugar, inflammation, atherogenic particles |
| 2 | SAHRV — spectral HRV analysis | 90 min | 2,700 | The variability spectrum: the sympathetic and parasympathetic contributions |
| 2 | Life test (express diagnostics) | 20 min | 900 | A screening reading on the spot, without waiting for the lab |
| 3 | Specialist consultation (cardiology, gastroenterology) | 30 min | 2,000 | The results discussed and the next programme planned |

The blood draw, spectral HRV analysis, the specialist consultation and the laboratory panel are marked in the plan: their day is a wish, not a booking.
The reason is domestic. The nurse works a short-week and long-week rota, and the appointment regularly slides to the next day. Promising a day nobody guarantees is the worst kind of precision, so the portal puts a sensible day and says plainly that the reception assigns the exact one.
Besides the instruments, diagnostics carries a battery of three tests. They need no equipment: a stopwatch, a chair and a measured corridor. The thresholds are taken from published clinical work, not invented for the portal.
The six-minute test the watch records by itself — six minutes of walking is a distance, and distance is what the watch is for. In the other two the watch holds the stopwatch and files the result, but a human performs the test: the seconds are counted, the quality is not.
| Test | What is measured | Threshold | Source |
|---|---|---|---|
| Chair stands | Seconds for five rises | Over 15 s — low muscle strength; 10 s or faster — good | EWGSOP2, 2019 |
| One-leg stand | Seconds of balance | Under 10 s — risk; 30 s and more — good | Araujo, 2022 |
| Six-minute walk | Metres in six minutes | 288 m is 0.8 m/s, 360 m is 1.0 m/s: the classic gait speed break points | Studenski, 2011; Ross, 2010 |
Between the measurements the days are held by the frame rather than by procedures: the core of diagnostics is almost empty on purpose. Nordic walking three times a week, the pool four; on top of that oxygen therapy twice and one classic massage a week.
The walk and the drinking cure do not compete for slots: they are the spine of every programme at the resort and stand in every day. For the demo guest day one is 30 minutes on route II and three servings of 150 ml.
The estimate is built from the same plan: included items carry no price, paid ones carry a price-list line. For the demo guest on three-day diagnostics the procedures come to 15,150 CZK — about 606 EUR at the rate of 25 CZK to the euro the portal uses for reference.
The room is counted separately and per night: Standard — 2,900 CZK (≈ 116 EUR), Design — 3,400, Lux — 4,200, Junior Suite — 5,200 CZK. The city tax of 50 CZK per guest over 18 per night is paid at the reception and is not part of the estimate.
The most expensive item of the course is the extended blood panel (4,500 CZK); the cheapest paid ones are the ECG and the guided walk, 350 CZK each.

Open the programme in the portalThe demo stand is open without a login: the same plan, the same numbers, a fictional guest.
Diagnostics is an entry point, and the portal is built so that guests leave it for a treatment programme rather than for nothing.
Three days is a short stay, but the night loop works on it too. Not before 06:00 the night just past is compared with the guest's own average, and flags reach the doctor's morning sheet: resting pulse above the usual, variability below it, a Body Battery that did not charge, a short night.
